It was a hot day in the park. Billy and his dad were having fun. At the ice cream stand, Dad bought cones, and began eating his right away. But Billy just took a lick and talked about how good it looked! Then he started following a squirrel. The cone soon melted and plopped on the ground, which made the squirrel happy! Billy felt better when Dad bought him a new cone, laughing as he said, "Some things just don't last forever, do they?" "But," he went on, "the Promise Jesus gives as our Savior does last forever. And ever."

To the right, is another placemat. This one can help you think about balancing your faith "diet." You’ll see the biggest portion is love. Not only should you show love by serving others, but love yourself. That includes being good to yourself: eat the right foods, get plenty of sleep and stay active by playing sports or games, walking a pet, cleaning house for your parents or grandparents. Anything that keeps your body moving and your brain engaged will keep you ready to share the Gospel!
